Biography
I am a civil engineer. My research focuses on studying the water cycle within coupled human-environmental systems at various spatial and temporal scales using numerical modeling and data-driven methods. I am particularly interested in understanding and predicting changes in extreme events such as floods, droughts, and wildfire due to natural and human influences.
My work includes applying remote sensing techniques to monitor soil moisture, precipitation, and river ice. I am currently working on advancing research to operations in hydrology across scales through the integration of remote sensing, numerical models, and developing applications for both expert and non-expert users.
